Cape Fox Lodge is a premier destination in Ketchikan, seeking an experienced Culinary Artist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that showcase your culinary skills.

Job Description:
- Prepare stations with top-notch ingredients and equipment to create culinary masterpieces.
- Slice, dice, and chop ingredients with precision and speed to prep for cooking.
- Cook a variety of dishes using utensils and grillers, ensuring sizzling sensations and perfectly grilled goodness.
- Monitor culinary creations while they cook, making adjustments as needed for presentation and flavor.
- Showcase plating skills to present dishes as works of art before serving.
- Maintain a clean kitchen with spotless surfaces and organized ingredients.
- Store food properly to ensure freshness and safety.
- Taste test dishes to ensure perfection before serving.
- Follow sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
- Manage stock levels and notify supervisors when restocking is needed.
What We're Looking For:
- A High School diploma or equivalent (bonus points if you've completed culinary school).
- Proven cooking skills and a passion for growth and development.
- Familiarity with cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.
- The ability to handle various cooking methods, including grilling, baking, and boiling.
- Experience following sanitation procedures and maintaining a clean kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliability, customer service orientation, and the ability to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Effective communication skills and physical stamina.
