Cape Fox Corporation represents the Tlingit Alaska Natives from the Village of Saxman (Southeast Alaska). We are seeking an Experienced Line Cook to join our team at Cape Fox Lodge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations.

1. Prepare ingredients and kitchen equipment according to established standards
2. Slice, dice, and chop ingredients with precision to create visually appealing dishes
3. Cook a variety of dishes using different utensils and grillers to ensure presentation and flavor
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation procedures and regulations
5. Showcase plating skills to present each dish as a work of art
6. Ensure proper food storage and organization to maintain quality and freshness
7. Taste and adjust dishes as needed to guarantee exceptional flavor
8. Follow cleanliness protocols to provide a safe working environment
9. Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors when restocking is required

We seek a motivated and skilled Experienced Line Cook who can deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key qualifications include:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (certification in culinary arts is a plus)
• Ability to prepare a wide range of dishes with precision and attention to detail
• Knowledge of cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
• Experience with grilling, baking, boiling, and other cooking methods
• Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and protocols
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Availability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Reliability, customer service orientation, and ability to work under pressure
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of a busy kitchen

$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The final compensation will be determined based on individual performance and company policies.
