Cape Fox Corporation represents the Tlingit Alaska Natives from the Village of Saxman (Southeast Alaska). We were founded over 50 years ago and have changed our business focus from harvesting timber to hospitality, tourism, real estate, and federal contracting. Job Description: Line Cook
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in cooking and have excellent communication skills. As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to high standards. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring that all meals are prepared efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes to high standards
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area at all times
- Monitor stock levels and report any issues to management
- Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and to a high standard
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary training preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods
