Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect the nation's food supply during every shift by adhering to strict sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Work with and around PSSI-issued sanitation chemicals, ensuring proper handling and application.
  • Clean and sanitize plants, equipment, and facilities, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform physical activities such as lifting, pushing, and pulling of sanitation equipment, while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Understand and comply with all food safety and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a culture of safety and quality within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull sanitation equipment, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in sanitation or a related field preferred.
