Safety and Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Transparent Search Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our workplace.
About the Role
As our Safety and Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust safety programs and ISO compliance standards. You will work closely with various teams to ensure a proactive approach to safety, driving continuous improvement and adherence to industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion Safety: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive safety programs aligned with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Train & Empower: Deliver engaging and customized safety training to employees, ensuring they are well-equipped to uphold safety protocols and standards.
- ISO Compliance Expertise: Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO standards (including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Continuous Improvement: Be a key player in safety committee meetings, contributing innovative ideas for enhancing safety and compliance initiatives.
- Emergency Preparedness: Assist in developing and executing emergency response plans, ensuring the team is always ready for any situation.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience & Expertise: Proven experience in safety administration, ISO compliance, and exposure to environmental and quality standards.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local, state, and federal safety regulations and ISO standards.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and motivate employees.
