Job Overview

Compensation: $15.00 Hourly | Employment Type: Full Time | Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Tuesday - Saturday

Position Objective: As a member of the Environmental Services team, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the facilities. You will report directly to the EVS Supervisor, EVS Shift Manager, or the on-duty EVS Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in stocking housekeeping supplies upon delivery.
  • Utilize cleaning agents to sanitize rooms and workspaces; maneuver or lift items as necessary.
  • Operate cleaning machinery to maintain the cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas, including metal fixtures and fittings. Clean carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum equipment.
  • Empty waste receptacles and clean ashtrays; transport waste to designated disposal areas.
  • Wash windows, sills, door panels, walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Handle biohazard materials safely.
  • Respond to or redirect customer inquiries to the appropriate department.
  • Assist in cleaning areas requiring special attention.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Environmental Services or Housekeeping within the hospitality sector.
  • Understanding of the chemical properties and safety protocols associated with cleaning agents.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and tools, including their functions and maintenance.
  • General knowledge of cleanliness standards in the hospitality industry.
  • Awareness of public health regulations.
