Beverage Service Assistant

Job Overview

Objective: The primary role of the Beverage Service Assistant is to support bartenders and cocktail servers in delivering exceptional beverage service. This includes ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available at the designated workstation. You will report directly to the Beverage Shift Manager.

Compensation:
$7.50 per hour | Full-Time | Shifts include Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday from 12 PM to 8:30 PM and Friday, Saturday from 4 PM to 12 AM.

Weekly Earned Wage Access is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Bartender in maintaining essential supplies such as straws, stir sticks, napkins, and matches.
  • Rotate stock, wash, and replenish glassware, and maintain an adequate supply of fruit garnishes.
  • Manage ice bins, dispose of garbage, replace trash liners, and ensure cleanliness of surfaces as time permits.
  • Prepare perishable garnishes and fruits by cutting, slicing, and peeling.
  • Transport ice from bins to service areas and refill ice containers as needed.
  • Collect and store empty liquor bottles for future returns and requisitions.
  • Handle heavy beer kegs, including transportation, replacement, and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure the workstation is properly set up and maintained before, during, and after shifts.
  • Adhere to all Oklahoma Liquor Laws and Choctaw Nation Alcoholic Beverage Ordinances.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age (18 years for establishments serving only 3.2 beer).

ABLE Certification is required.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions.

Basic mathematical skills are necessary for this role.

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
