Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team at Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve Food and Drinks: Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure Correct Temperature: Verify that food and drinks are served at the correct temperature to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Answer Guest Questions: Respond to guest inquiries about menu items, ingredients, and other related topics.
  • Bus Tables: Clear and reset tables to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for the next guests.
  • Communicate with Team Members: Collaborate with wait staff, managers, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Promote Casino Events: Inform guests about current casino events and programs, and provide directions to all casino areas.
  • Perform Closing Tasks: Complete regular closing tasks, including side work, setup, maintaining station cleanliness, and end-of-shift tasks.
Requirements
  • ABLE Certification: Possess a valid ABLE certification.
  • Cash Handling: Demonstrate the ability to handle cash responsibly and accurately.
  • Math Skills: Possess basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages, as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation, and product inventory.
  • English Proficiency: Speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate strong teamwork skills to support the success and enjoyment of our guests.
  • Previous Experience: Possess previous server or wait staff experience.
