We are looking for a Fund Administration Team Leader to oversee our Accounting Team within the Global Fund Administration sector.

  • Support the Accounting Manager in guiding the team and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage daily operations for pooled vehicles, ensuring compliance with internal and external customer requirements.
  • Conduct training and development for new hires and existing team members.
  • Assist in resolving complex accounting issues and participate in special projects as necessary.
  • Review shareholder reports and fund distribution calculations to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate audit processes and address any related issues.
  • Document procedures and recommend improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.

Unique Aspects of the Role:

This position offers a more analytical focus compared to traditional accounting roles, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the mutual fund or finance industry, along with a 4-year degree in a relevant business field.
  • Skills: Proficient knowledge of mutual fund accounting, tax regulations, SEC compliance, and financial reporting is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with standard desktop applications and knowledge of RIC reporting requirements is advantageous.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is between $110,000 and $120,000, with additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
