About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist/CSR to join our team at Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client service and supporting the surgeons and other employees in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and patients in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Check in clients, triage phone calls, make appointments, and collect payments
  • Enter clients/patients into the practice software
  • Provide support to the surgeons and other employees as needed
  • Prioritize multiple tasks while working independently or with a team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate clearly with teammates and clients, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You should also have attention to detail and enthusiasm for working with animals and their families.

Qualifications

We require a high school diploma or equivalent, and one year of customer service experience is preferred. You must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English, and be able to write simple correspondence. You should also have basic data entry and computer skills.
