Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at MFA Co. As a key member of our Echocardiography Laboratory, you will be responsible for performing advanced testing and procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography procedures, including 2-D and M-mode echocardiograms and Doppler studies
  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and arrange for repairs
  • Train technicians, residents, and fellows in routing and specialized equipment procedures
  • Respond to cardiovascular emergencies during testing
  • Generate Cardiology reports for review by cardiologists
  • Perform other non-invasive cardiological tests, such as exercise/stress testing and Holter monitoring
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Completion of a formal echocardiography training program
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in echocardiographic procedures
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach above the shoulder for long periods
  • Occasional lifting or carrying up to 100 lbs.
