Hemo Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a Hemo Dialysis RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience and IV placement experience required.
- Knowledge of specialty equipment and tools, including Plasmapheresis and Dialysis.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification.
