Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of powertrain systems.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of powertrain systems.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues affecting powertrain systems.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of technical work experience and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment; 3-5 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills; ability to work independently with limited supervision; strong organizational and administrative skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Body Shop/Stamping/Paint/Subassembly Experience: Experience in a body shop, stamping, paint, or subassembly environment preferred.
  • Lean Manufacturing Principles: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management principles preferred.
  • Safety and Quality Experience: Experience in safety and quality roles preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
