Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Marsh McLennan Agency. As a key member of our Employee Health Solutions group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with clients.

Your primary focus will be on managing a complex book of business, including delivering advanced client service, resolving claims and addressing billing and eligibility issues. You will also lead the training and development of staff members within internal teams.

In addition to client management, this role plays a crucial part in the marketing process, overseeing the collection of RFP documents from clients or carriers and ensuring accuracy. You will also provide guidance on alternate options to be quoted and ensure that proposals align with the marketing request.

A successful candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, human resources, or a related field, with minimum 7 years of experience required. Advanced knowledge of employee benefits markets and compliance is essential, as well as extensive knowledge of risk management techniques, employee Benefit markets, and carrier marketing techniques.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days spent in the office. We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $125,000 per year, based on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including generous time off, tuition reimbursement, and professional development opportunities.
