Position Overview:
The role of the Admissions Coordinator at EnduraCare involves overseeing the admissions process for our inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate a streamlined admissions process for all patients.
  • Manage referrals, collect and confirm essential information, and execute necessary procedures to schedule and admit patients to the rehabilitation units.
  • Stay informed about current regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement.
  • Adhere to organizational and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist in completing non-clinical information on pre-admission assessments for rehabilitation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Effectively promote rehabilitation programs to both internal and external referral sources.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:
*Candidates must possess prior experience in admissions and marketing within a healthcare setting.

  • A college degree in marketing or business is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an admissions department is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of current regulations governing Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement for inpatient rehabilitation is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with computers, software applications, and various office equipment is necessary.

Compensation:
USD $38.46 per hour.
