Responsibilities:
The HR Assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Processing new hire documentation, conducting background checks, coordinating drug screenings, and completing I9/E-Verify.
- Managing status changes, termination paperwork, promotions, and other HR-related modifications, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained prior to processing in the HRIS.
- Maintaining up-to-date personnel records.
- Assisting with hospital recognition initiatives and addressing general Human Resources inquiries from employees.
Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; a college degree is desirable.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Experience in general office or personnel-related roles is required.
- 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
