Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Qdoba Mexican Eats | The Integritty Group. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in all aspects of service, quality, cleanliness, production, and maintenance for the restaurant during the assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Development: Train, develop, and coach team members during assigned shifts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Shift Management: Assign activities and tasks during shifts and set shift goals to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
  • Guest Service: Interact with and engage guests, create guest orders as requested, and ensure the accuracy of each order when working on the service line.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Adhere to food safety standards, report any questionable food deliveries and/or practices, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Inventory Control: Help manage inventory control, receive food orders, and clean, organize, and rotate items in the walk-in cooler.
  • Leadership: Model the standard for the guest experience, identify and solve problems before they impact the guest, and have a calm, solution-focused approach to guest recovery.
  • Communication: Communicate goals and expectations, manage resources effectively, empower others to make decisions, and keep your manager informed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Prior restaurant kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Language: Ability to communicate in English is required; Spanish comprehension is helpful.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work a variety of shifts, sometimes extending beyond eight hours, based upon local operating hours.
