Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to join our Davenport shop. This role is crucial in maintaining our fleet and ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute work tasks safely, minimizing risks to colleagues and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

- Conduct routine preventive maintenance and comprehensive inspections on various equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues identified during inspections promptly.
- Offer precise recommendations for repair solutions.
- Deliver high-quality mechanical repairs efficiently.
- Utilize OEM diagnostic tools to ensure accurate repairs on equipment and heavy trucks.
- Complete work orders electronically with precision.

Qualifications
- Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of major truck components, diesel engine diagnostics, hydraulic and electrical systems, and preventative maintenance.
- Proficient in using computer diagnostic tools across multiple OEM platforms.
- Ability to perform complex diagnostics and repairs on all equipment-related systems, including engines, after-treatment systems, chassis, drive train, and hydraulic systems.
- Skilled in rebuilding complex equipment such as hydraulic pumps, PTOs, hydraulic motors, and blowers.
- Capable of performing both routine and advanced repairs on on- and off-highway equipment.
- Ability to provide detailed repair options with parts and labor estimates upon request.
- Class A CDL is preferred, with support for obtaining it post-hire.
- Must possess personal tools and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication, analytical, and basic computer skills are essential.
- Familiarity with manufacturer software for diagnosing and repairing electronic systems is necessary.
