Position Overview: The Medical Administrative Assistant Instructor plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive training aligned with the course curriculum. This position involves facilitating lectures, discussions, and practical demonstrations to ensure that students acquire essential skills and knowledge in medical office procedures and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver coordinated instruction and supervision relevant to the course curriculum through various teaching methods, including lectures and individualized training plans.
2. Ensure that the instruction aligns with the Training Assessment Reports (TARs) for the courses, providing trainees with adequate knowledge and experience in medical office procedures, patient care, and relevant professional standards.
3. Teach specific skills pertinent to the Medical Assistant field, such as:
   a. Executing general medical office procedures;
   b. Understanding anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures;
   c. Performing clinical office tasks;
   d. Conducting general laboratory procedures;
   e. Adhering to emergency protocols;
   f. Additional skills necessary for certification.

Administrative Duties:
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each trainee, including attendance and performance metrics.
5. Foster a positive and functional rapport with trainees to enhance their learning experience.
6. Submit daily attendance reports to the records department promptly.

Professional Development:
7. Participate in staff meetings, training seminars, and other designated meetings to contribute to program improvement.
8. Clearly articulate goals, performance expectations, and standards to support students' career preparation and development.

Qualifications:
RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) or CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) certification is preferred, along with two years of clinical experience in a physician's office. Candidates with RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) credentials, or those with graduate training in allied health, may also be considered for teaching clinically related courses, provided they have two years of experience as a Health Occupations Instructor. Current medical assistant registration or certification through a nationally recognized certifying agency is required.

Licenses and Certifications:
1. State Teacher's Certificate is mandatory.
2. Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) must be obtained.
3. A valid Regular Driver's License is required.
