The Air Education and Training Command is seeking a highly skilled Program Management Specialist to provide support for all aspects of Student Services. This position will work closely with the Dean, Associate Deans, department directors, and course directors to ensure the success of various Master's Degrees programs and other program offerings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide program management support for Student Services, including curriculum development, student support, and database management.
- Develop and manage various databases for effective compilation of data, including student information and program metrics.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of Distance Learning and directed programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Review and update established instructions, policies, and procedures to ensure conformance to program directives.
- Serve as a primary consultant and troubleshooter for the electronic online campus and student management system programs.
- One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-08, or equivalent in other pay systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and course offerings of current and historic Professional Military Education (PME) offerings.
- Technical expertise in applying an extensive body of standard and often ambiguous rule sets and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of supporting database management systems to make timely and exacting updates to data points affecting student actions and career-impacting decision making.
- Strong knowledge of PME learning continuum, including historic offerings, and what is required to meet professional educational objectives at rank levels O-1 through O-6 and civilian equivalents.
- Strong knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices of an educational technologist.
- Ability to analyze problems to identify significant contributing factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize, propose, and implement solutions.
- Ability to develop plans and organize work tasks for multiple programs.
