Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Achieve Goals: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and meet business objectives, ensuring alignment with company initiatives.
  • Lead and Drive Operations: Direct and manage all aspects of the Distribution Center, including people, processes, and vendor relationships.
  • Analyze and Improve Performance: Utilize data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic solutions to drive business growth.
  • Manage Expenses and Resources: Monitor and control costs to ensure alignment with company guidance, while providing high-quality resources and support to initiatives.
  • Recruit and Develop Talent: Partner with Human Resources to identify, recruit, train, and develop leaders, ensuring a strong and skilled leadership team.
  • Initiate and Review Vendor Contracts: Collaborate with procurement teams to initiate, review, and monitor DC vendor contracts, ensuring optimal partnerships and cost savings.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience, with 7-9 years of experience in a high-volume distribution environment.
  • Leadership and Team Management: 4-6 years of experience leading and facilitating cross-functional teams, with a proven track record of success.
  • Interpersonal and Negotiation Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong, positive rapport with associates in a team environment.
  • Conflict Management and Adaptability: Ability to manage difficult employee situations in a professional manner, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to change in the work environment.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
