Job Description

Position Summary:


The Facilities Supervisor for Supportive Housing will oversee all maintenance, repair, and grounds-keeping for scatter-site properties owned by Pine Street Inn.


This role ensures timely and professional completion of work orders, proper oversight of vendors and contractors, and effective communication with staff regarding project statuses and emergency issues.


Pine Street Inn operates 24/7, requiring flexibility with schedules, including occasional holiday work, on-call duties, and presence during snow and weather emergencies.



Requirements

Education and Training:


Required:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred:



  • Associates degree


Knowledge and Experience:

Required:



  • Minimum of five years of facility or operations experience on a supervisory level

Preferred:



  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance, work order databases, and safety/OSHA training


Mental Abilities/Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills, good communication skills, and good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
  • Flexibility, common sense, and patience
