Job Summary

The Director of Listener Engagement at Walk FM is a full-time position responsible for coordinating station promotions and events, community outreach, and listener engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Butterfly Hugs Ministry, including coordinating volunteers, contacting hospitals, and maintaining supplies.
  • Plan and execute listener engagement events, contests, and activities, including setting up rules, coordinating with venues, and planning activities.
  • Manage the station's product, including researching ideas, ordering, and maintaining inventory.
  • Oversee the setup and operation of the tent/booth at events, including planning, staffing, and vehicle preparation.
  • Create and coordinate Walk FM events, including exploring venues, coordinating with venues, and communicating station involvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, create experiences for donors, and help cultivate new donors.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of event coordination and execution, CCM artists and touring, and local ministries and community organizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills, as well as effective written and social media communication skills.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, respect, cultural awareness, flexibility, and sound work ethics.
Working Conditions

The incumbent will spend long hours sitting and using office equipment, with occasional lifting of supplies and materials. The work environment is busy and open, with constant interruptions and regular meetings.
