About the Role

The Chief Strategy Officer will be a key member of the executive team at GSI, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth, developing and executing comprehensive strategies across all business functions, and ensuring the company's long-term success in the rapidly evolving medical personal care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to drive growth and innovation in the healthcare and personal care sectors, leveraging industry trends and market insights.
  • Oversee Product Strategy: Oversee product strategy and roadmaps, identifying high-impact opportunities in the market and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and drive innovation across the organization, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Build and Manage Sales Teams: Build and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve targets, providing coaching and guidance to ensure sales success.
  • Collaborate with C-Suite Executives: Collaborate with the CEO and other C-suite executives to define and articulate the company's vision, mission, and core values, ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Establish Key Relationships: Establish strong relationships with key opinion leaders and top accounts to drive adoption of products and treatment protocols, leveraging industry connections and expertise.
  • Collaborate with Marketing: Collaborate with marketing on HCP and patient-facing initiatives to build brand awareness and demand, developing targeted marketing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Establish Partnerships: Establish strong relationships with key partners and open new channels, with a focus on expanding GSI's private label business, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Provide Market Insights: Provide market insights to guide product development and lifecycle management, ensuring that GSI's products meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Collaborate with Product Development: Collaborate with marketing and product development on brand positioning, new product launches, and promotions tailored for GSI's private label customers, ensuring alignment across the organization.
  • Provide Market Insights: Provide market insights to guide private label product development, pricing, and positioning to meet business customer needs, ensuring that GSI's products meet the evolving needs of the market.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of leadership experience (VP/CXO level)
  • aesthetics, beauty/personal care, with private label experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of successfully launching products and growing market share
  • Profound knowledge of the retail landscape and strong industry relationships
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and team leadership skills
