About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Administrator to join our team at GBS Benefits, Inc. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for managing the renewal process for clients, including requesting information from carriers, ensuring proper plans and carriers are quoted and accurately entered, and coordinating necessary communication with the group through the Broker/Client Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage renewals of employer-based employee benefit packages for GBS Benefits
  • Assist with new business and manage renewals of current business
  • Effective follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organization
  • Model team commitment by meeting deadlines and being cooperative, collaborative, and flexible
Requirements
  • Experience with a PC, proficient in MS Office and Internet
  • Expert ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English
  • Proficient relationship building skills, including the capacity to predict and manage behavior, build and leverage cross-functional partnerships within and outside of the organization
  • Ability to work under demanding time constraints and expectations
  • Project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $55,000 and $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
