Role Overview:

We are seeking a Security Operations Coordinator who is eager to learn and grow within the field. A critical eye for detail is essential, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve shared objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage all tasks related to operating a responsive and professional call center, ensuring timely responses to inquiries regarding case statuses, program details, and policies.
  2. Handle incoming phone calls and electronic communications from the security community.
  3. Maintain customer satisfaction and foster positive business relationships during all interactions.
  4. Update and manage subject records accurately during customer interactions.
  5. Provide assistance to customers, exercising sound judgment to determine appropriate responses.
  6. Clarify security clearance and investigative requirements to customers without needing to escalate inquiries.
  7. Support high-level and special interest cases by providing necessary assistance and information.
  8. Assist in the creation and preparation of various documents, including Standard Operating Procedures, reports, and briefings.
  9. Compile accurate data for Call Center Support reports, summarizing workload volume and any challenges faced.

Qualifications:

  • Security Clearance: Must possess a fully adjudicated Secret security clearance.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience with a working knowledge of National Security Databases such as JPAS, DISS, CATS, e-QIP, and others.
  • Education: No formal degree or prior experience is required.

Employment Status: This is a full-time, exempt position.
