Job Summary:

As a patient advocate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients. You will work closely with our registered nurses to provide direct care and support to patients, focusing on their activities of daily living. Your attention to detail and ability to create a safe and therapeutic environment will be essential in this role.

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a patient advocate. If you have a strong background in social sciences and experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient advocacy and support services
  • Assist registered nurses in direct care of patients
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit
  • Participate in groups and provide direct interaction with patients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or comparable behavioral health experience
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Benefits:

  • 2% Pay Differential Available to Applicants who maintain an Active CNA License
  • 36/72 Full Time Evenings - Every Other Weekend schedule
