Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Patient Advocate to join our team at Butler Hospital. As a Patient Advocate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment on our inpatient units.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist registered nurses in direct patient care, focusing on activities of daily living.
  • Monitor and observe patients to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to meet patient needs.
  • Participate in group activities and provide support to patients as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science or comparable behavioral health experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients.
  • CNA license preferred.
What We Offer:
  • 20/40 part-time evening shifts with every other weekend.
  • 2% pay differential for CNA license holders.
