Job Summary

The Greenville Country Club is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support the HR team in various functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, training, and administrative tasks.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical HR experience in a hospitality environment, working closely with the Director of HR and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The intern will assist in maintaining compliance, supporting employee programs, and contributing to a positive workplace culture for GCC's staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including job postings, resume reviews, scheduling interviews, and conducting new hire orientations
  • Collaborate with department managers to ensure proper communication of HR policies and procedures, fostering a cohesive work environment
  • Work alongside the HR team to coordinate employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and other initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Currently pursuing a degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, preferred
  • Previous experience in HR or related administrative work in a country club setting, preferred
Benefits

In addition to field experience, interns will be provided with housing, paid an hourly rate, and can expect to work 40+ hours each week. Pro shop discounts, uniforms, and a meal allowance are also provided. Interns must have their own transportation.
