Job Summary

Solvere Technical Group is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Specialist to provide critical support services at the Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk VA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Total Ship Readiness Assessment and Troubled Systems Process (TSP) review to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Attend pre-deployment material readiness meetings to identify and address issues prior to underway dates.
  • Support the preparation of N6 Daily Update and Weekly Summary readiness briefs to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Engage with Warfare Centers and SYSCOMS to assess current ISEA level involvement and re-focus efforts on priority fleet issues.
  • Attend TSP Action Officer meetings to track current and historical issues with Troubled Engagement Systems and provide trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with NAVSUP and DLA to obtain updated status on procurement of parts to address CASREP's in the fleet.
  • Assist with the completion of Information Technology Purchase Request (ITPR) by verifying justification, resource availability, and tracking progress.
  • Support claimancy commands with purchase and upkeep of Multifunctional Devices (MFD).

Requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent USN training/experience preferred.
  • Possess five (5) years of progressive experience in operations, maintenance, supply, analysis, support, of Navy systems, including five (5) years of experience in the management of a directly related field.
