Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Line Cook to join our team at Cipriani, a renowned upscale Italian restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Cooking Excellence: Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste, adhering to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to prioritize orders, ensure timely preparation, and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, notify supervisors of shortages or discrepancies, and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize contamination risk and ensure food safety at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a line cook or in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or food service establishment.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, culinary fundamentals, and food preparation methods.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, maintain attention to detail, and adhere to high-quality standards.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform tasks that require coordination and flexibility.
Compensation and Benefits
