Seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead the culinary team in a renowned upscale French restaurant located in New York.
Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the kitchen operations to ensure guests receive an outstanding dining experience
- Coordinate food preparation, presentation, and service to maintain the highest standards
- Hire and train high-performing staff in proper cooking techniques and adherence to recipes and quality standards
- Establish efficient staffing levels and conduct daily briefings with the culinary team
- Manage inventory, labor, and food costs to maximize profitability
Chef Requirements:
- 3-5 years of kitchen management experience in an upscale environment
- Expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines, focusing on innovative and seasonal dishes
- Ability to manage kitchen budgets and control costs
- Passion for food and dedication to delivering exceptional dining experiences
