Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is excited to announce a strategic partnership with a premier property management firm to fill a direct hire position. This collaboration signifies a commitment to excellence and growth, offering a unique opportunity to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency within the property management sector.

Position: Property Accountant

Salary: $70-$75k

Objective: To manage and analyze financial information for real estate properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reporting packages.
  • Conduct comprehensive accounting tasks, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank statement reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, process cash receipts, and prepare bank deposits.
  • Execute common area maintenance and real estate tax reconciliations.
  • Monitor daily cash balances and assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets.
  • Collaborate with property managers, owners, and vendors, maintaining open communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of general accounting experience, with a preference for experience in real estate property accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with real estate accounting software (MRI or similar).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
