Position Overview:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is accountable for the comprehensive management of organizational operations and program oversight. Additionally, the CEO will collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and execute a robust business and sustainability strategy annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Planning: Partner with the Board of Directors to formulate and implement annual business and sustainability strategies aimed at establishing and maintaining reserve funds that cover three years of operational expenses.
  2. Fundraising and Financial Management: Cultivate and sustain relationships with funding sources on behalf of the organization. Prepare, oversee, and adhere to the budget approved by the Board, ensuring financial integrity and transparency.
  3. Program Oversight: Direct the operations and programs of the organization, including personnel management, hiring, and performance evaluation of all staff members.
  4. Community Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between the organization and community agencies, fostering collaborative relationships to enhance service delivery for clients.
  5. Board Liaison: Recruit and maintain an engaged Board of Directors, providing them with regular updates on organizational activities and challenges.
  6. Advocacy and Networking: Represent the organization at community and corporate meetings, staying informed about relevant legislation and advocacy efforts related to human trafficking.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to the mission of the organization, demonstrated success in fundraising and grant writing, and proven leadership capabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field is preferred, along with experience in managing diverse teams and engaging with various stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and effectively manage crises.
