The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive recruitment and admission outreach programs to meet targeted enrollment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of admission professionals in developing recruitment strategies and planning.
  • Create a calendar of events in support of the recruitment strategy, including information sessions, school visits, interviews, and webinars.
  • Assess strategy effectiveness to determine impact on enrollment and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee a team of admission professionals in charge of executing admission and recruitment related programs.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating all campus visit programs, including daily information sessions, campus tours, open houses, and special events.
  • Organize and lead counseling sessions and workshops on the application and admissions process.
  • Play a lead role in managing the travel recruiting budget to implement targeted enrollment strategies.
  • Analyze enrollment reports from various sources and make recommendations.
  • Conduct training sessions for department staff to assist in developing and accessing recruitment and marketing efforts.
  • Perform employee evaluations of direct reports and make salary recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and updating University of Miami admissions publications.
  • Establish and continuously assess the effectiveness of internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles.
  • Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
  • Ability to establish department goals and objectives that support the strategic plan.
  • Ability to effectively plan, delegate, and/or supervise the work of others.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
