- Generate daily reports of sales activities and submit them to management.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in the territory.
- Attend industry trade shows to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients.
- Update client information in the company contact database with sales progress reports.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
- Deliver products to customer locations if needed.
- Provide product training and after-care service, including technical support.
- Plan and organize daily work schedules and business trips.
- Focus on sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and preparing reports.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reaching out to technicians and being able to repair products.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Closing skills and negotiation skills.
- Territory management skills and prospecting skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Excellent team development skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs of product.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Business level).
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite and basic Japanese skills are a plus.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
