About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfill patient care responsibilities, including:
    • Organizing patient flow and collaborating with front office staff
    • Interviewing patients and obtaining vital signs
    • Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
    • Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
    • Administering medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
    • Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
  • Fulfill clerical responsibilities, including:
    • Sending and receiving patient medical records
    • Facilitating patient referrals
    • Preparing forms for patients
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
