Job Title: Clinical Specimen Collector

Georgetown University is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specimen Collector to join our team. As a key member of our Infectious Diseases Clinical Trials Unit, you will play a critical role in collecting patient specimens, processing them, and entering data into our clinical trial sponsor system.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect patient specimens and process them according to established protocols
  • Enter data into our clinical trial sponsor system with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Develop and document instructions for complex tasks to ensure consistency and quality
  • Communicate effectively with customers, internal resources, and support teams to ensure objectives are met
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with a year of related work experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and experience with Workday a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Working Conditions:

This is an office-based position with a sedentary work environment.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $40 per hour for approximately 20 hours a week. The projected salary range is $42.10 per hour.
