Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collector, Specimen to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients by collecting and processing specimens in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Specimen Collection
  • Collect specimens from clients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ensure all specimens are collected accurately and on time.
  • Complete random and emergency observed urine collections as needed.
  1. Transportation and Logistics
  • Transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destination.
  • Maintain accurate records of each specimen collected.
  1. Customer Service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and the general public.
  1. Regulatory Compliance
  • Follow DOT guidelines for breath alcohol and urine collections.
  • Maintain accurate collection logs, accuracy logs, calibrations, and certifications.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Access to dependable and insured transportation.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified BAT/Urine Collector.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Sitting, standing, driving, lifting no more than 10 pounds.
  • Ability to concentrate on task at hand.
