Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Live Streaming Operations Manager to oversee our dedicated team in New York. This pivotal role encompasses the management of live stream setups and daily operations, enhancing viewer interaction, and propelling brand expansion on the TikTok platform. The ideal candidate will possess robust operational and leadership capabilities, a thorough understanding of TikTok's guidelines, and the proficiency to devise and implement effective live streaming strategies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to elevate product visibility and brand standing.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Operations: Direct the setup and administration of live streams in the U.S., including team oversight. Lead the TikTok operations team, offering training, mentorship, and performance assessments.
  2. Platform Mastery: Acquire expertise in TikTok live streaming protocols and equipment, managing daily brand live stream activities. Formulate and execute comprehensive TikTok strategies to meet business goals and growth objectives.
  3. Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee compliance with TikTok's regulations, steering clear of prohibited content and sensitive subjects. Stay informed on industry trends and TikTok policy changes to foster innovation.
  4. Content Development and Strategy: Craft impactful live stream strategies, encompassing product showcases, marketing scripts, supplier and host coordination, live script composition, user insights, data evaluation, and strategy refinement. Supervise the planning, execution, and enhancement of all TikTok initiatives and projects.
  5. Viewer Engagement: Utilize experience to amplify live stream visibility and audience numbers, maintaining an engaging and orderly live stream atmosphere, and adeptly managing emergencies. Build and sustain relationships with influencers, livestream agencies, and other collaborators.
  6. Performance Enhancement: Oversee the entire live stream process, adjusting strategies in real-time based on TikTok backend analytics to maximize performance. Prepare and routinely present business summaries, delivering actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  7. Cross-Department Collaboration: Foster communication and cooperation across departments to ensure strategy consistency and effectiveness, enhancing product sales, brand visibility, and reputation, while coordinating activities between domestic and North American teams.

Qualifications:

  1. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in live stream operations; international experience and apparel project background are advantageous. Extensive familiarity with the TikTok platform is required.
  3. Social Media Acumen: Profound understanding of Western social media, particularly TikTok, Instagram, and Meta; experience in social media strategy development.
  4. Industry Background: Experience in the fashion consumer goods sector; adept in brand collaboration, business communication, and development.
  5. Communication Skills: Exceptional cross-functional communication and coordination abilities, proactive and resilient, capable of spearheading new business initiatives and rapid iterations. Outstanding presentation skills are a must.
  6. Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Strategic thinker with the ability to craft and implement innovative marketing strategies.
  7. Analytical Abilities: Proficient analytical skills to interpret data and metrics for informed decision-making.
  8. Work Environment: Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
  9. Location: Position based in New York and Los Angeles.
