About the Role

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a skilled professional to join its Investment Intermediaries Department as an Assistant Director/Associate. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in promoting a sound financial services sector through prudential oversight of all financial institutions in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct due diligence checks on applicants seeking to conduct fund management and investment-related activities in Singapore.
  • Engage applicants and internal MAS stakeholders as part of the application review process.
  • Prepare assessment reports of licence applications and handle the licence issuance process for approved applications.
  • Assist in projects related to authorisation policies and processes, as needed.
Requirements
  • A degree in finance, banking, business, or accountancy.
  • Prior working experience in fund management and investment-related activities, including compliance or audit, is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
