The College of DuPage is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as the Dean of Enrollment Management. This key leadership position is responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating enrollment plans and strategies to meet the annual enrollment goals of the college.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Enrollment Management: Provide leadership in the review and execution of the Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Plan, effectively collaborating with college leadership staff to implement priorities identified in the plan.
- Recruitment and Enrollment Planning: Create and implement strategic yearly recruitment and enrollment plans utilizing data and best practices to meet conversion and enrollment goals.
- Data Analysis and Trend Identification: Collaborate with the SEM team to compile and analyze trends in institutional, regional, and national data for the prospect-to-enrollee admissions funnel.
- Leadership and Management: Direct, manage, evaluate, and hire administrative leaders and staff members that report to the Dean, ensuring that directors and managers are providing appropriate training, supervision, professional development, and evaluation to their individual direct reports.
- Communication and Marketing: Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, communications, and web presence ideas, leading the team in reviewing on- and off-campus recruitment, conversion data, and events.
- Technology and Policy: Serve as reviewer in the adoption of communication and technology tools, serving as the primary point of contact for various vendors and service providers utilized by the Enrollment Management team.
- Policy Development and Communication: Review and develop policy and procedures for the areas of responsibility and communicate them to the college community.
- Partnerships and Funding: Develop partnerships, funding resources, and collaborations to assist particular student populations that may need additional support to achieve academic success.
- Goal Setting and Budgeting: Create strategies for the accomplishment of assigned responsibilities, develop both short- and long-term goals and objectives for the unit, and develop budgets, monitor division spending, and approve expenditures according to annual spending plans.
- Education: Master's degree in management, counseling, student personnel, education administration, educational psychology, or a related field required; Doctorate degree in higher education, education administration, or a related area preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience with management and leadership in enrollment-related fields required; experience working in departments such as admissions, registration, enrollment services, one-stop centers, student information centers, records, financial aid, veterans' services, and/or a combination of these units required.
- Technology and Leadership Skills: Experience with Ellucian software products required; experience with Ellucian Colleague preferred; demonstrated leadership, and excellent communication skills required; demonstrated understanding of the application of relevant technology required.
This position requires a general office environment and a background check and drug screen.
