Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing operational and financial support to our hotels in the Western Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume the role of Assistant General Manager at assigned hotels and ensure compliance with Brand Standards and Regional Manager directives.
  • Have a working knowledge of assigned hotels' operating, financial, and sales and marketing procedures and goals.
  • Complete all Assistant General Manager or Department Manager duties at the given hotel.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) at assigned hotels and perform QA self-audits.
  • Be a Brand Champion and support all Brand and Regional initiatives with active participation.
  • Conduct region-wide training for new initiatives and current Brand Standards for Operations Managers.
  • Participate and support the Region's Specialist Team initiatives.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of PMS, MARSHA, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other software systems.
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-written documents in representation of the hotel or Region/Area.
  • Compliance with Marriott's Travel and Business Expense Reimbursement Corporate Policy (MIP 44).
  • Report Payroll Time Date accurately and promptly to the Payroll Administrator.
