Burger King Restaurant Operations Manager

The Restaurant Operations Manager (ROM) plays a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction by overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant. The ROM collaborates with the Restaurant General Manager to drive financial performance, operational excellence, staff development, customer service, and adherence to compliance standards to achieve desired outcomes, including enhanced sales, profitability, and employee retention.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure efficient and precise preparation and sale of menu items for timely delivery within established service standards.
  • Inspire and guide team members and Shift Supervisors to surpass customer expectations through prompt and friendly service in a well-maintained environment.
  • Oversee the training and development of team members and Shift Supervisors on their roles, product knowledge, processes, and policies.
  • Implement cash control and security measures while assisting in executing marketing strategies, managing inventory, labor, and utilizing financial reports to improve restaurant performance.
  • Support the Restaurant General Manager in enforcing compliance with regulations, company policies, employment laws, food safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and retain high-performing team members.
  • Make informed decisions regarding team member discipline and terminations.
  • Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance for scheduled shifts, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

  • Proficient in using computers and calculators.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a vehicle with necessary insurance.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory; some college education is preferred.
  • Completion of internal training programs is necessary.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the quick-service restaurant sector.
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

The role involves physical demands such as bending, stooping, kneeling, occasional crawling, climbing, and lifting/moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Regular exposure to video displays, driving conditions, and standing for extended periods is expected, along with effective communication abilities. Vision and hearing capabilities are essential, as well as the ability to work in various environmental conditions and high noise levels.
