  • Learning and Development:
    • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
    • Identify knowledge and skill gaps in new team members and create customized training programs for improvement.
    • Support team members' career growth by identifying potential career paths, providing mentorship, and facilitating internal mobility.
  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement:
    • Utilize operational tools to consistently deliver the Smoothie King Experience and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines, store appearance, and cleanliness standards.
    • Manage cash activities and validate and reconcile cash and time logs for accuracy and coaching opportunities.
  • Sales and Inventory:
    • Optimize product placement and quantities to drive sales growth and minimize waste.
    • Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including community outreach through marketing and special events.
  • Culture and Team Engagement:
    • Foster a positive work environment, encourage open communication, and promote team member involvement in decision-making processes.
    • Lead the team by setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback and coaching, and conducting progress reports.
    • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments using existing tools and programs.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a manager or supervisor in a restaurant or retail customer service business.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide proof of adequate car insurance.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, and general POS functionality).
  • Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes.
  • ServSafe Certification.
