Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients, utilizing a range of techniques and strategies to promote communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a clear and concise manner, adhering to departmental policies and standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Therapist in Rhode Island.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults and children.
  • CPR certification.
