Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist at Apple Rehab, you will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing resident care programs to enable residents to achieve and maintain their maximum level of functional ability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents to identify their communication and swallowing needs, and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to residents, either individually or in groups, to improve their communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Director to manage caseloads and ensure that residents receive timely and effective treatment.
  • Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care.
  • Document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in a long-term care setting preferred.
