We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to identify communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Provide speech and language therapy to patients, including individuals with neurological disorders, developmental delays, and acquired brain injuries.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Rhode Island.
- 2 years of experience working with adults and children with communication and swallowing disorders.
- CPR certification.
