Job Summary

As a key member of the Alzheimer's Association team, the Vice President of Development will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and achieving strategic goals. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in fundraising, sales, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive development strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key community leaders, corporate partners, and staff to drive engagement and support.
  • Lead and coach a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising goals and build successful event growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement ambitious development strategies and goals that align with the Association's strategic plan.
  • Provide inspirational leadership, oversight, and implementation of fundraising programs to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business, or a related field (CFRE certification a plus).
  • 7+ years of proven leadership experience in peer-to-peer, fundraising, and diversified fundraising programs.
  • Experience with mass market events like Walk to End Alzheimer's.
  • Strong track record of networking and cultivating key C-Suite community and corporate leaders.
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to increase productivity and enhance results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and solid project management skills.
