Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of development professionals to achieve fundraising targets and ensure effective donor engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners to secure significant gifts and support.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to develop and implement organizational strategies and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for fundraising and development.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to track fundraising progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in fundraising and development.
Requirements
  • Masters degree + 8 years of relevant professional development experience, or
  • Bachelors degree + 10 years of relevant professional development experience, or
  • Associates degree + 12 years of relevant professional development experience, or
  • H/S diploma or equivalent + 14 years of relevant professional development experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior leadership role in a complex fund-raising environment.
  • Must have at least 6 years of supervisory experience.
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification desired.
